The Dwelling Place is horrible. They tell you lies and have no follow thru. And when you leave honest reviews they remove them bcuz they only want high praise. The truth- they dont care. Waited for my scheduled phone call but they never called. I left several msgs and finally they called back and said oops, sorry. Then scheduled another phone call. They forgot AGAIN. The Dwelling Place is a truly remarkable organization. I’m in awe of the support and compassion they provide to women and children who are experiencing domestic abuse and crisis. Their trauma-informed programming and transitional housing go beyond meeting immediate needs — they offer real hope and the tools necessary for rebuilding lives. The commitment to healing, safety, and long-term stability is evident in everything they do. This place changes lives.
It’s an incredible ministry that is making a difference in the lives of the women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
What an actual joke. I start the application process and do the background check. I am told there is room for me and will be room for my child within a few weeks. THEN they totally change their story and tell me it could be months! Also trying to get ahold of them is joke too! What a great professional christian facility. Passive aggressive with zero accountability for lying to me!
