After having two other companies attend our property for a blocked foul drain. This on-going issue was easily rectified by The Drain Guys within an hour of being here. We really wish that we had used them first. Subsequently, they have attended my mothers house and two of our friends houses as we recommended them. The service was brilliant from start to finish. I had a nightmare situation at the weekend with a manhole in my back garden that was completely overflowing with sewage. I called The Drain Guys late in the evening and they honestly bent over backwards to help me. Within two hours an engineer was at my door. He was polite, professional, and really put me at ease while sorting everything out quickly and efficiently. Awful service. Would not recommend at all. Communication is very poor and staff approach their work with arrogance and unprofessionalism. I was scheduled to have a drainage survey which I was informed was a compulsory requirement for having an extension. Information had to be shared on numerous occasions because it wasn't logged and staff were abrupt and unhelpful in their communications. We called out this company a month ago, they sent out someone who assessed the problem and although he said they could help fix the problem and supply a quote, we have had no response from them despite chasing. Charged us £110 plus VAT for doing very little on the day.
