Management Needs an Overhaul – When the University Club closed many members were forced to move to the Downtown Met. Both are owned by the same parent company but are run entirely different. At the Downtown Met the employees could care less about service and making the clients happy. The tennis director has a real attitude and is alway rude to you when you come to him for help. I agree - meet a member! – I came here with 7 friends one night and it was possibly the finest dining I've yet to do. We had a private room overlooking the puget sound (from the tallest building in Seattle!), about 4 servers at our beck and call, and a fantastic mulit-course meal.
Wonderful – Fun, upscale, and very social. The view is breathtaking. When I arrived, the waiters were in tuxedos pouring martinis. I took some great photos too. People were very friendly.
To bad I am not a member! – I went to dinner with a member and I would highly recommend befriending one immediately!. The new bar just opened and it is beautiful with great shareable appetizers. Not everyone will see this venue because of member only status but if you can go and have not been in a while.. you will love the new bar!
