Colonial elegance with a warm and friendly glow! When you enter the Dorset Inn, it feels as though you have been transported back to another time of charm, warmth and an earlier America. An America where real wood finishings were the norm and not the exception. The Dorset Inn is for long distance travellers and local hometown folk alike. Beautiful decore and splendid food to satisfy body and soul.

The Inn was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous decor and the staff was so welcoming, like we were family. We had dinner at the restaurant on site and it was delicious. The rooms were perfect.. the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spot on with the heated floors. The town was quaint, beautiful, and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Incredible location, food, and service. We had our two large dogs with us, and we were welcomed with beds and toys for both of them. Really can’t say enough about the experience, we will be back.

Hospitality is what comes to mind. People, sevice & friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the complimentary breakfast takes it over the top. We will be returning!!

Amazing Vermont location. The little town of Dorset is so quaint and inviting! But best of all is the Dorset Inn, a very welcoming Dani made our stay memorable. She took special attention to detail with our arrangements and daughter joining us. Beyond the clean and comfortable rooms, the dining is excellent. You know it’s great when the locals join you for the turkey croquettes! Delish! We’ve been enjoying Vermont for 50 years, and this little town has our hearts. Thank you for making our memories enjoyable with every visit!
