What a fantastic find! We are visiting from Washington State by boat and stopped here for the first time. The donuts were served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. There were so many flavors to choose from, including fun Fourth of July specials, chocolate, cinnamon, and other festive varieties. The person who helped us was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Great service, amazing donuts, and a fun vibe! Best donuts in Sitka, full stop. The dough is soft and has a good mouth feel. These donuts aren't mostly filled with air, so you'll find them to be a great in between meal snack. Love how creative they are with the flavors and toppings. Last time I tried them they were only doing mini donuts and now they've expanded and started making full sized donuts, which are available around town. So, if you see THE DONUT SHACK sign up next to donuts, know you won't regret it.
Awesome donuts! LOTS of great flavor options, it was hard to choose. We had the fruity pebbles and the cinnamon roll, both were great. It was fast and they even brought them in to us at the brewery. A great sweet treat after eating pizza at the brewery. Definitely recommend
