We’re so glad we chose The Dog Wizard to train our 5 & half month old golden retriever. Deirdre took him under her wing & treated him like her own. She sent lots of updates & videos during his 2 weeks there and he returned with a much calmer temperament & lots of new skills. Would definitely recommend!!
We love our fear reactive rescue but she was also the most stressful part of our lives. She reacted to all animals, especially dogs, and most people. We live in a townhouse without a yard so walks were essential but also the worst. We’d tried having sessions with other trainers at our house and even took online courses to try and help her ourselves, but things just continued escalating. Jeremy was amazing in helping train my bernadoodle Ozark. Before taking him to the dog wizard, Ozark was having trouble going on walks, getting potty trained, biting, barking, and all the other things puppies struggle with. After getting Ozark back from the dog wizard, he’s been calm obedient, and listens to me a lot better. I’m able to take him on walks and to public places without worrying about how he is going to act. Overall, I would highly recommend using the dog wizard for any of your puppy training needs.
A few weeks after adopting our 1 year old pit mix, we noticed some problems we were unable fix with our own skills at home. She wasn't able to calm down when she was excited and she had some trouble with mouthiness and controlling her play biting. She also pulled on the leash and would jump on people when greeting them. Amado trained our puppies and did a great job. They learned a lot with him and it shows! we were sent great update videos throughout their time there that showed their progression. Even though they’re still puppies, they’re much more well-behaved than before this training program. thanks Amado for teaching them and giving us guidance on keeping the training going.
