Jonathan was fantastic with Layla. She’s a 5 year old lab and we did the 10 day training. I was mind blown on how well Layla did and how good she is with obedience training. 10/10 to Jonathan. He was great with her.
So happy we chose The Dog Wizard! Jessie our shelter rescue was enrolled in the 14 day Jumpstart with Josh! We could not be more happy with the results and the communication throughout the whole process! Josh was fantastic! We are so happy to have her back home again and to continue everything we have learned and look foward to attending the graduates support classes!
Our dog Tucker just finished the Jumpstart 14 program at The Dog Wizard Sarasota. His trainer Brandy was fantastic. She made sure our specific needs for Tucker were addressed. The jumpstart program is well worth the money. Update: So after having the dogs back home for close to 2 weeks, It seems all the training and commands they learned depend on them actively wearing a prong collar, so you can pull it a specific way to force them to follow the command. We were so lucky to have Brandy as Tara’s trainer. She was exceptional at explaining the purpose of each training and demonstrating what to do. Most importantly she then had us practice how to do it properly with Tara. Brandy also had helpful suggestions when we brought up a problem. For example, Tara is very strong and was pulling heavily when being walked. Brandy brought a different kind of leash that wraps around her snout to prevent the tugging. What a game changer! I am glad that our research finally landed on The Dog Wizard and our 4.5 month old pup Warden was lucky enough to have Emily as his trainer. Her confidence was matched only by her skill and experience. Emily showed incredible patience and love for Warden and it shows by how successful she was in helping him understand and obey the commands in our chosen program.
