Our experience with Dog Wizard was exceptional. We came to them needing help with a rescue pup we'd had for six months. Ken was a tough case and even as very experienced dog/rescue parents, we didn't know to help him. We were paired with Mallory who gave Ken amazing training and attention over a three week stay. Ken gained communication skills and commands that have made having him home again not only manageable but enjoyable! The investment was worth it because the behavior issues Ken was having were so unmanageable that we... read more
We just finished 6 private obedience classes with Mallory. I highly recommend her and the Dog Wizard of Saint Johns!! We have a high energy 5 1/2 month old mini Golden Doodle. The training we did with Mallory helped us help our pup to be more responsive and calm. If you looking for trainers or your on the fence watching YouTube videos thinking you can do it yourself, just call The Dog Wizard of Saint Johns and get excellent training so that your pup is a pleasure to be around.
When I got Sebastian his separation anxiety was unreal. Whining, crying and chew thru his crate was an eye opener. I reached out to Mike and he immediately responded. He went above and beyond by taking him a few days early to begin his program. Kaylee and Mallory were amazing and so gentle with him while training him. Kaylee responded to my texts immediately, both her and Mike kept in the loop the entire time. When it came time to take him home, I was so nervous but Kaylee kept me positive and answered every text immediately... read more

The first several classes were held at the Dog Wizzard location. The next several classes were held at a pet store, 2 parks, & a restaurant. Our trainer, Kaylee, did an exceptional job walking us through each lesson plan, making sure we had a grasp of the techniques & that Luna was responding appropriately before the session was concluded. Honestly, at the midway point, L... read more
I am so grateful to have found the dog wizard, St Johns. A stray wandered onto our property. He was terrified and unapproachable. We felt like we had to save him from the county kill shelter. After he decompressed and trusted us, we decided to see if they could help him be more sociable and leash friendly so he could be adopted someday. Mallory and Mike are amazing. Not only training the dog, but training us to work with him at home. His improvement is above what I expected. I'm so proud of him. We continue at home to reinf... read more
