Our 6 month old Black German Shepherd, Nyx just completed the 14 day jumpstart to improve impulse control, leash walking and overall learning to calm. Nyx is a working line shepherd and has HIGH drive with some crazy energy along with a ton of separation anxiety and stubbornness. Katie was amazing to work with! She is truly talented and helped my dog completely turn around so many issues even bettering him in ways I didn’t know were possible. My 2.5 dashchund needed to work on his random aggression towards kids and people. He ended up refining his leash skills, new commands, and so many other tools for when he stressed and needs to look to me and his safe cues. The two week stay worked out so well for my pup. We adopted Shaggy at 10 weeks on Jan 1st of this year. It took him a couple of weeks to realize that we were his forever family. We tried to give him proper guidance in training, but we weren't completely sure of it all. We wanted to provide Shaggy with the best way to make him a successful puppy. We had an amazing experience at The Dog Wizard Cincinnati. We have a 7 month old Bernedoodle (Hopper). Prior to him we had 3 English Bulldogs and no experience with this type of breed. He is very high energy and very smart. Couple that with anxiety, reactivity and a little resource guarding and it became obvious we didn’t have the skills necessary to give him what he needs to thrive. Katie was the best trainer for our dog River! She took River to many different public places which helped her get over her anxiety. We are so happy in the care and attention she gave and would recommend Dog Wizard.
