I brought my dogs to The Dog Stop (Katy) for an evaluation. I appreciated that they were able to get us in quickly, but the experience was disappointing due to poor communication and what felt like a lack of real knowledge around dog behavior, training, and redirection. They told me my dog was “mounting” and that he was redirected, but anyone familiar with mounting knows it can be a stress/overstimulation response—especially in a new environment.
