A great place to take your pet while out of town! We didn't have to worry about our puppy being taken care of. Wonderful staff and owners that care for your pets as if they were their own!
The Dog House was great with our dog Pepper while we were on vacation. She had so much fun with the other dogs and got lots of play time. Thank you to the Dog House for taking such good care of our Pepper!
I did a test run for a Saturday while I did a run to Sioux Falls and loved how accommodating they were with my 1 year old black lab. They were able to fit him in with no problem. He is one who has a lot of energy and he came home and slept all night! They give their dogs so much play time it is truly amazing! I’m having surgery and just dropped him off can’t wait to see how tired he’ll be after 3 days there!! I highly recommend checking them out!!
You know your dogs are at the right place when they couldn't care less that we are there to pick them up- no anxiety or issues dropping them off. Truly Justin and Wendy are the best! I would recommend them to anyone!!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review sooner! We’ve used The Dog House since Fall 2017, and we’ve loved EVERY experience since then from doggy daycare to burn off some energy/socializing, overnight stays while we are out of town, and even “pawdicures”. Every time we walk thru the door, we’re always greeted with a smile and it’s been fun to see our dog, Skiba, open up more and more around Wendy and Justin with each visit. Our dogs spent a weekend here. They were treated very well and came home happy! I love that they have outside play time and are kept at night in an inside kennel. The staff and owners are very kind.
There are two places in Marshall where you can leave your dog. When you visit both of them you have the answer where you want your dog to stay and it is definitely The Dog House. I love this place! It is very clean, smells really nice, owners are very cool, and dogs are simply happy there. Thanks again for taking care of our whiny and spoiled little girl!
When I called to ask about availability, Justin was incredibly friendly and informative on the phone. When I picked up our dogs after our stay, Justin immediately was able to inform me about how my dogs were during their stay (eating and playing habits) which just showed me how much he truly cared about my dogs. Both of our dogs promptly fell asleep as soon as we got home, so it's safe to assume that they were probably pretty active!
