Absolutely lovely. Food was tremendous and the staff were fantastic
Lovely pub and the service was excellent, so I really can’t fault the staff. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. We were a group of around 20 and waited nearly two hours, which I appreciate may have been due to our last-minute booking. However, with the prices being charged, I expected much better. Several of us ordered the Wagyu burgers and they were very overcooked, while the lamb dish came with just two very small pieces of lamb. Katie our waitress was brilliant. Food really good only 4 🌟 as there was no crackling on my husbands pork, when the table next to us had a lot so slightly dissappointed to have none, and he left it too. Sacrolidge x
A new menu added recently which is truly excellent. More high-end than other local pubs, and the usual great atmosphere. We tried the pigeon starter (beautifully cooked), the venison (very well balanced with the kale and sauce), and the fantastic kebab. Very well worth another visit.
Great Venue, great food, great staff.
