The sliding dock step is perfect for my wife and parents. Literally walk onto the aft. The retraction is required for me due to my dual console posts. So this design is perfect. Two lag bolts 6” into the rim joist and 1/2 bolts on the rear rail. 61 lbs and built quality and sturdy. Their will add to all my days embarking a disembarking. A must for 4 post lifts. The summer of 2022 Dock Doctors, after building and years of installation & removal of our dock, returned our 2022 deposit and claimed they could no longer service our account due to worker shortage and were discontinuing us as a client moving forward. Something to note, our 2021 dock removal did not go very smoothly, and our retaining wall/dock anchor/cement was damaged when they removed the dock – which they photographed and promised to address when they returned in 2022.
