alyssa worst hairdresser i've ever had. Didn't do what i asked for at all. I specifically asked for layers and a butterfly cut but got nothing. My hair was cut straight across and looks terrible. She curled it after so I didn't even get to notice what she had done until i got home.
Asked for a butterfly cut with lots of layers and curtain bangs. The hairdresser cut my hair straight across the bottom, not a single layer in sight. Did give me curtain bangs but nothing else that I asked for. Really friendly but did not give me what I asked for at all.
Meredith is hands-down the best color specialist in Dana Point. I came in with hair that was brassy, dull, and honestly just lifeless. She took the time to really listen to what I liked and didn’t like about my current color and never rushed through the consultation. What impressed me most was how knowledgeable and confident she was — she immediately knew exactly what would work best for my hair and explained everything clearly. Wonderful salon and experience! From being greeted by Jasmine at the front, to getting a lovely haircut from Carly, to also getting to spend time with the owner, Lora, to see her talents and enjoyment from her space - Awesome! Others around were happy, smiling, chatting, laughing - men and women alike... Cleanliness was top notch as well! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the District Salon, and you will too!
This place always does it right—i have a complex style of cut i like done and few barbers have accomplished exactly what i want, disctrict saloon has always done it perfectly! Nice Job Meg, and shoutout to Micheal who started my journey here (Rest in peace 🕊️)
