Our party thought we were going to have a nice lunch on a patio at a cute bistro. However, after waiting for over an hour for our food and expressing frustration, the chef/owner came out to check on us, she was very rude and unprofessional. The bistro was not busy at all, maybe 1 or 2 other tables. 4 out of the 6 of us ordered salad, one with a side of fries. Stopped for an appetizer. 9 of us but only 6 ordered and just wanted a snack. No alcohol ordered. Ended up ordering salads, gyro and corned beef sliders. Sat for an hour before we finally inquired about the delay in food. Waiter was very nice and checked. Owner/chef came out, no apologies for the wait, said that everything was handmade to order. Very nice
I have dined here numerous times for both lunch and dinner. We have also enjoyed several wine pairing meals and a couple liquor tastings as well. As with any small town, it’s hard to get people to work. However we have never experienced poor or slow service. The food is always flavorful and fresh. Much of it is sourced locally. Yesterday’s Chicken Caesar Salad was exactly what I needed. The croutons, salad dressing, and parmesan are all made in house.
