good food at reasonable prices Whenever I am craving a good burger,Diners never fails to satisfy me. The chairs outside offer a great view and the service is fast. It is difficult to hav a good dining experince in the winter time, seeing as the store as little space inside and it gets really hot due to the stoves. PROS: Great food; reasonable prices CONS: Little parking; cramped space inside
Cozy Diner with Good Food This is a cozy little diner that has a great atmosphere and good food. I have eaten breakfast and dinner at this location. They were both good enough to write about. I had pancakes the time I ate breakfast and spaghetti the second time. I think they are a little pricey for the quality of food, but it is still good. So, if you are looking for an experience that isn't going to be like what you'd get in a chain restaurant, this is the place to go.
Unfriendly Service – I really cudnt tell u how the food is. My husband and i walked and sat in booth by window. At least 7 minutes went by and we were never greeted by anyone. All the waitresses did was look at us. No menus no hello nothing.d So we took our business 2 Diannas.
Joke – very upset this morning! I walked in to the diner on clifton and sat down a table next to the window. The place was maybe half full...maybe. With out even a hello or a good morning a waitress asked me how many in my party (even though she knew it was just me)... I told her "its just me". She than told me that I could not sit at the table because there were four seats at the table. Now, i would understand if the place was busy but it was not...at least four other "large" tables were available. I smiled...stood up and l... read more

Yum & Fun! – The diner has a GREAT menu. Some of your average greasy diner food, but a lot of it has a new flair. There are lots of great wraps on the menu (spinach & mushroom-mmmm) and their burgers are absolutely fantastic. Certainly one of the top burgers in Cleveland. The dining area is small though and they won't allow single diners to sit anywhere but the counter, so I recommend takeout. A nice selection of desserts as well!
A juke box diner that's only missing Marilyn. – The Scene The Clifton Diner wins across the board -- great location, great food and great ambiance for all meals. A blueish glow surrounds the booths from a circular light fixture placed inside the ceiling, providing an airy atmosphere near the wide open, chrome grill. Too many times retro diners fall into the trap of the 50's theme with poodle skirts and James Dean. The Clifton Diner manages to set itself apart, combining the comfort of a good old Midwestern diner with the fre... read more
Good food, good value – The Diner has good food. I recommend the burgers. They are cooked they way you order them, which can be hard to find in a restaurant. The french fries are fresh cut. Portions are reasonable. Not worth driving across the city for, but if you're in the lakewood area, it's worth a stop.
