Had a good experience at The Dickens Bar in Burlington. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly, but nothing particularly stood out. The drinks and food were decent, just not exceptional. Overall a solid spot for a casual night out, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way for.

My friend and I come to The Dickens fairly frequently for trivia night and always have a great time. But as of lately, the place is so packed we can barely see the screens, the service is so slow- we got our food almost an hour after ordering, not because of the staff per say but because they are definitely beyond capacity! Management: please change your capacity limit!!! It’s ruining the vibe.

My friend and I are semi-regulars at this lovely, local pub for Tuesday trivia nights. The staff are spectacular, the food is great and the experience is usually perfect. Unfortunately, as of late it appears a new booking system disallows the staff from controlling the bookings and as a result, our usual fun Tuesday trivia has turned into an overbooked, cramped experience.
