Only giving 2 stars because the employees have been very kind to us. My partner bought this ring for me end of December 2024, I noticed it started to discolor in April 2025 and I brought it to get it cleaned because I thought it was tarnished. Come to find out the color of metal is fading. I spoke with the manager and she dipped it for me. I was there when the store was closing, went home and went to bed. The employees were very nice and refunded accordingly. I deposited for a custom ring Jan 13th only to find out today (Feb 21st) that they didn't even order it. I needed it by march. Not sure if I'd call them reliable but this is probably the first and last time I'll enter that store.
Question: how expensive would your cleaning be for tarnish on silver?
I took my wedding ring to the Diamond Depot for a rhodium dip, they told me they would send it to their 4th generation jeweler who they trust, I got it back and a week later the entire center two row halo fell out. I took it back to ask them to fix it and they told me it wasn’t their fault and did nothing to help me and no refund. My boyfriend bought me a tennis bracelet for Christmas. I wore it for two days and one of the links holding it together snapped. We weren’t worried because he purchased the warranty. We took it in and were told that I obviously did something to cause it to break. I wore a piece of expensive jewelry that’s made from “high quality material” so yeah, I guess I did it to myself.
