The Devonshire Players are amazing!! They helped to create the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony playing beautiful song after song. Each player is incredibly talented and all of their music was perfection. Additionally, Lakshmi is a wonderful human being and is truly a joy to work with. Our wedding guests were blown away by this quartet and have not stopped commenting on the beauty of their music. We highly highly recommend!!!
My wife and I were incredibly happy that we chose the Devonshire Players for our wedding ceremony. Literally anything you would hope for out of a string quartet, they delivered. Great communication? Yep, Lakshmi, the leader of the group, is awesome. A huge song list? Absolutely- our playlist was a pretty even split between classical and modern pop/rock favorites; additionally, for a very small fee, they'll learn new songs- our recessional was "Everything Is Awesome!!!", and they had no trouble nailing it. The Devonshire Players were perfect for our wedding ceremony music. They came recommended to us directly from our day of coordinator and we couldn't have been happier with their skill, professionalism, and flexibility, including learning three new songs. The Devonshire Players came recommended by my party planner, and these ladies are AMAZING! Lakshmi is so kind and such a pleasure to work with. The group has such talent and range. I was blown away by the mix of modern and classic songs they cover and they learned 2 new songs for our ceremony. They set the tone for a special and emotional ceremony. I cannot recommend enough!
I absolutely LOVED working with Lakshmi and the Devonshire players. We made a last minute decision (about a month in advance) to have a quartet play, and they were amazing! So easy to work with and figure out the details. I'm sad to say that with everything going on the day of the wedding, I didn't actually get to meet them, but they played so beautifully!
