I really needed the time at Kandela. It allowed me to focus on myself and better my mental health. I feel confident, after having completed the program, I will be able to take what I’ve learned and apply it to my daily life. The staff is wonderful…especially Sasha! She’s a great therapist and really cares for her clients. I recommend this place to anyone needing help with addiction and/or mental health!
Worse experience i ever had. I experienced techs Melissa in particular would gossip with the nurses in the hallway, they are manipulative and just foul people. In my time there i seen 3 therapist literally walk out in 1 day, and by the end of my stay 8 techs quit. They only let you call once a week, they monitor your conversations,youre literally under duress while there. I’ve had a wonderful experience at Kandela between the daily groups, meditative exercises, therapy sessions, and the community they have built here. The food is great too!
I have been here 32 days now and I have to say this is one of the better treatment facilities I’ve been to. The staff is amazing especially Sasha (my therapist) and Samantha the program supervisor. The group instructors are also amazing and really help with Trauma and coping with troubles in daily life. All of the techs are very caring and respectful when they come to check on you. Great place. Great staff. Great food. The staff really care and take their time to work with you so you can get better. This was the chance of a lifetime and I am glad I took a risk.
