We would highly recommend Haley Carter. Our only regret is not finding her at the very beginning of our house design. Haley is a great listener, pays attention to detail, is highly organized, punctual and does what she says she will do (something we learned is a rarity when building). I wasn’t the easiest client to work with as I often was better at describing what I didn’t like rather than what I did like. I have been working with Kristen Levy and Mae Hight for over a year on various projects. Kristen Levy is godsend in the WNC interior design realm. She and I have collaborated on projects for several years, and I find her professionalism and excellent communication skills to be a refreshing change of pace in an industry burdened by supply chain issues and inexperienced designers. I can rely on her to enthusiastically engage with each project, and look forward to many more years of creative and innovative collaborations with her.
I am so thankful that my builder recommended Kristen! We had very specific ideas about some aspects of our log cabin, and no clue about others, and she guided us along the way, helping us to fine-tune and order the selections we'd already made, and showing us samples of items in our budget that we hadn't decided upon yet. Because we were going for a rustic look, she took the time to find a local business that made cabinets from reclaimed barn wood. We are thrilled with the final result--it exceeded our expectations!
