Place smelled musty, dust covered back of booths, the food was not of quality aside from the fries and shrimp. They were ok. Got the breaded mushrooms which were mostly breading and had a sweet taste. Clam chowder was pasty, fish was overcooked (no freshness detected at all). Oysters were not cooked properly. Diet soda tasted moldy. Left our plates, paid the full bill and had a better meal at Arby's.
We drove from a neighboring town to eat at The Depot which used to have great customer service. Their open sign was on and I had already checked that they didn't close until 8pm. We're told at 7:40 that they were closed. The open sign was on. Shotty customer service now, apparently.
The chowder is delicious!
Great and friendly service. Very prompt, refilled drinks, no complaints about service. Menu needs to be updated or something. Dinner meals come with salad that's iceberg lettuce based, some shredded cabbage and chunks of carrots. This is topped with a generous portion of tiny shrimp. I was not a fan.
