My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant. This restaurant had a good reputation in the past for their beer-battered fish and chips, but now the fish is breaded. The restaurant needs a complete remodel and renovation. The booth we were seated in had rips in the upholstery. We ordered the salad with our dinner, but after approximately 20 minutes, I asked about our salad and found out it is served on the same plate as the fish and chips. We absolutely love this place.!!! Cant go wrong.!!!
The chicken strips were definitely boiled before being coated with what they would use to do fish, it was over cooked and no seasoning, same with the fries. The oysters were over cooked. And the chowder was ok, nothing to write home about. The waitress was great though. The building could definitely use some upkeep, it was beyond rustic.
