The new owners of the depot are terrible. We bought our gas fireplace 2001. We had it serviced a couple of times and the guy who serviced it was great. After Covid, we can’t get service at all. We have called and it takes weeks to get a call back because the person has to check the service schedule and then the service is weeks out too. Last year, I wanted service and I called in January and it was going to be late March before they came out. I don’t need a fireplace in March. In august, I had an issue and I called. This company came across great when we went in to set up an installation plan on a wood burning stove. We picked everything out the day we went in and put down the deposit. We were told 6-8 weeks for complete installation. I was 100% good with that time line IF they would have communicated with us. We heard nothing. No one came out to measure the floor/area until we called after 4 weeks of silence. This installation wasn’t going to be cheap but we thought in the end we would benefit from it in our home. I wanted to replace my old gas fireplace with a new wood burning stove insert. They answered all of my questions and explained all of my options. They had to schedule installation out a couple months, but that’s expected for a successful, quality business. Installation went smoothly and they walked me through everything that I needed to know. The Depot is awesome!
