I travel from Brisbane to see the team every 8 weeks and can confidently say that Jalal and Matthew have been incredibly supportive, considerate and informative throughout my time with SFD. I've been attending Sydney Functional Dentistry over the last 18 months for treatment using the ALF appliance. I have found Jalal and Matt to be a joy to work with! Dr Jalal's expertise and holistic approach to dentistry is very unique and precious with profound outcomes. I very much hope his approach is adopted by more dentists and health professionals treating chronic pain and tension soon!!
Dr Khan was a consummate professional- incredible perspective on marrying dentistry and osteopathy for a holistic approach to allowing your body to heal itself. Can’t recommend him highly enough. He has such a logical but also refreshingly novel perspective on functional dentistry. He is a deep thinker and problem solver whilst also being attentive, empathetic, humble and honest. Never met anyone like him before. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve also booked my children in to see him as well because I was so impressed!
After previously receiving braces at a different clinic I was left feeling unaligned and stiff which took a toll on my quality of life. I opted for the ALF appliance here and was able to reverse those effects and even gained improvement in my breathing which made exercise so much more enjoyable for me! I felt I was in good hands with Jalal and Matthew, they are amazing at what they do. I’m glad I came across sydney functional dentistry 🫶
