I had a great experience at The Dental Group in North York. The staff were very friendly, professional and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The dental hygienist was gentle, thorough, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning. Make sure you ask ahead of time what the examine fee will be before you book an appointment here. I called in to schedule a visit to have a tooth looked at, and I was in and out of the chair in just 15 minutes, only to be hit with a $165 charge for an "emergency exam" at checkout. When I asked the front desk to clarify what exactly constitutes an emergency exam, the receptionist literally responded with, "Emergency means emergency." I am so happy that I found this dentist. The staff are very helpful & highly passionate about your health. I was shown multiple diagrams & they throughly explained everything. They also understood my financial situation and were non judgemental. So far, I am happy with the services. I specifically chose here because I didn't want to feel humiliated about my delay in taking care of my teeth.
