Our unit was 237. There is a $50 parking fee. The grounds are nice. The outside stairs are filthy and the paint is peeling. If you are looking for peaceful, ocean front views, look elsewhere becuz these are obscured by overgrown palm trees and horrible drag racing right outside. Nothing peaceful. The small terrace was old and peeling from paint with lots of rusts stains. The patio furniture was old and dirty. Such a beautiful condo complex, right on the seawall!
The Dawn gave us a good time on Galveston Island. Highly recommend. Owner of AirB&B was responsive and directions and rules were clear. Amazing sunrise from the well appointed deck. We will stay here again.
Wir haben 1 Tag vorher über Agoda gebucht und es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Wir konnten zwar nicht auswählen welche Wohnung wir bekommen würden aber unsere im Building 9 war sehr schön. Der Balkon war nach hinten raus zur Straße, deswegen war es auch sehr ruhig. Die beiden Pools sind toll und jetzt im Oktober auch immer leer. Walmart, Tankstelle und Möglichkeiten zum Essen alles fussläufig erreichbar. We had a great time at this unit. It is very spacious for a two-bedroom. Everything worked, and the unit is within walking distance of Walmart and the gas station. We did not mind that we had to walk across the street to go to the beach because we had the wonderful view, including the sunrises and sunsets. The local management was very responsive in answering questions before we checked in, and when we reported an HOA property issue on the balcony.
