The location was nice and has a very short walk to the beach, but the room in itself was horrible. There was a horrible bug infestation. I saw ants crawling in and out from under the couch, counters, bathroom, and even thermostat. I woke up with ants in my hair. There were several roly polys hiding under the bathmat. Not a very pleasant experience! Moving on from the bug infestation, the shower wasn’t very great either. We stayed in a rental here the staff was amazing with our parking pass and pool wristbands. The quiet relaxing views were great! My kids loved both pools! Walmart also being right across the street was nice!
I’m deducting 2 stars because when I went into the office I was not greeted even tho “Heather” was with another family she looked at me 3-4 and didn’t even acknowledge me. (She should have said welcomed in or something when the entrance bell ring) also while in office to register my car I was given a parking violation( I called the office and they said they remember me and it would be voided).. very nice property, pools and landscaping.
The unit we stayed in (1036) was great and worked perfectly for us (family of 4, 2 adults, 1 teenager & 1 toddler). Pack n play was already in the unit - we just had to bring a sheet. This unit also had beach towels, washer/dryer and dishwasher in the unit. Tough part was it was up 2 flights of non-toddler friendly stairs. Great view of the gulf and the fridge having a built in ice/water dispenser was a nice touch as well. Not having a tub in the unit was a little challenging but we made it work just fine.
