We love and always have loved the y!
I've been to about seven different YMCAs, and I’d like to share my experience at this location. First of all, the staff here are super friendly and welcoming. Every time I come in, I genuinely feel like they’re happy to see me, which is always nice. Another big plus is the convenient location — it’s easy to get to, which makes it even more appealing. Lots of classes, clean weight room and pool, generally friendly staff. Updated 2025: I've been going to the Dancel Y for over a decade and it has been a great home gym over the years. While not the largest YMCA in Central Maryland, fellow gym members are regularly courteous about not hogging equipment and letting people work in!
