Absolutely shocked at the service, other reviews just about says it all really.
I have been with Lancaster medical practice for years and I am very happy with them. They're excellent for emergency appointments and often get me in the same day when I truly need it. When I don't need emergency appointments the wait times are alright, they always call me back in the window they tell me they'll call me back in. I missed an appointment, which is my bad. But I never had a booking confirmation or any reminder, so the slot simply slipped my mind. When I realised and rang to cancel, I sat in the call-queue for ages, got a call-back after the time had passed, and the appointment was wasted. It’s frustrating because this could be fixed so easily: • Send an SMS or e-mail confirmation the moment the slot is booked. • Follow it with a quick reminder the day before, with a one-tap “cancel/re-book” link.
