The Daisy has moved to 1601-41st St. in Capitola--accross the street from the old location. Come and see the wonderful items we've gotten in from the general public, consignments shops and even retail stores. We've got some real bargains.
I love that they give all proceeds to such an important non-profit. As far as shopping there (I am 49) the clothes are aimed more at the frumpy older crowd. If they accepted more hip clothes even the 40-50 somethings would love to shop there.
The store is delightful. Lots more space and light. Lots more items for sale. The clothes are in excellent condition and the variety of books is great. The prices are reasonable. But it is the women who volunteer at the store that make your shopping experience a positive one. This store is a treasure and one worth cherishing. With so many challenges to your finances, this place is perfect for enlarging your wardrobe. Also, don't forget to donate your nicer clothing and books. It all goes to a worthy cause. I Love The Daisy!
