The food was so good, I ate mine and finished my wife's! I had the blackened redfish and she had the brisket sandwich with handcut tallow fries. I could have made a meal alone of the homemade crawfish sauce that came with the redfish! Sorry there's only one picture we ate it all and said "we need to leave them a review!" Great atmosphere with everyone at the bar knowing each other and very friendly waitress, Donna (AKA Granny) It was the perfect break from driving all day for great food and drinks; so glad we stopped in!
The Mississippi wings are the best wings you've ever had. Deal for 18 for 16. Tastes like the best bite of a brisket every wing 10/10. Quesadilla fantastic, not too fatty, perfect. Excellent beer selection and very pleasant and helpful staff. Great music.
We went about 7:30 on a Friday night. The outside is very pretty. We were greeted immediately by the sweetest lady and seated. Our server was a very friendly young lady who offered suggestions on both food and drinks and made conversation throughout our dinner. So i visited last week and i remember when Cypress Taphouse was an enjoyable place to come eat, have a few drinks, or just relax at the bar. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The food simply isn't what it used to be, and the atmosphere feels completely different. The new staff comes across as rude and uninterested in providing good customer service, which really takes away from the experience. What a great place! The staff was friendly and attentive and the food and drink were delicious. Try the wings - I’ve never had anything like them! The setting is so cute, with a boardwalk to enter the restaurant. I ate here while passing through town and can’t wait to come back some time in the future.
