This review is loong overdue. I can't recommend seeing Ashtyn enough. I've been a client of hers for over three years now and thanks to her expertise and guidance, my hair hasn't looked or felt any better! and this is coming from someone that had NO CLUE how to take care of curly hair until I became her client, I admit. Very pleased! Ashtyn has been cutting my hair for nearly two years. She’s really invested time and thought in getting to know my 3B/C curls, even extending my last appointment time to figure out how my hair shrinks much more than expected. She’s gifted and motivated to deliver fabulous haircuts. Her skills are on par with the NYC Deva Curl-trained stylist who cut my hair when I lived in the northeast. I’m so glad I found her. Her instagram account is a must-follow too!
I have wavy hair but a LOTT of it. I came in for my usual maintenance dry cut but asked for some more layers and shorter face pieces this time (which I didn’t have as much of before). Ashtyn took such good care to make sure my hair was perfect! She even styled my bangs/face framing which is not a part of the dry cut 🥹. She never disappoints, but girl ROCKED my cut! I am in love with my natural hair because of her! A good plus is her amazing personality 💗
