Great for a birthday treat! The Cupcake Shoppe offers a perfectly cute alternative to a boring old birthday cake! The staff is fantastic - I called ahead with my order and they were quite helpful. I picked out 5 different flavoured cupcakes for my friend's 40th birthday - and we even put little "40"s on small fondant discs that sat on top of each cupcake. Expensive Cupcakes I stopped in here yesterday with my little girl and ordered ONE cupcake. I got a little sticker shock when they told me it was $2.75. I could understand if they were meticulously decorated, but though attractive, they are basic cupcakes with a huge glob of icing on top. I'm sure they are made from scratch with fine ingredients, but I didn't think they were "that" special. I found the cake to be a little dry.
Awesome cupcakes! They are gigantic, too! I am getting married soon and would love to have them make a "cake" of cupcakes for me, but I'm getting married in Indiana. Bummer! Only downer is that they are getting more business so I have to wait longer.
