I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at The Crossroads Inn was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place has seen better days. The room smelled musty, the sheets were questionable, and the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned—there was hair in the sink and mold in the shower. Breakfast was a joke—stale pastries, burnt coffee, and some mystery eggs that looked like they’d been reheated for the fifth time. To top it all off, the noise level at nig... read more

What an absolute gem of a place!!! The hostess is one of the kindest persons ever and we were welcomed very nicely for our visit. The property has a very calm, relaxing vibe and a great weekend getaway. It is conveniently located close to both Pedernales Falls State Park and Frederickberg from where we went to Enchanted Rock. The rooms and amenities are exactly as described. There are quite a few great locations to dine and the hostess was kind to make some recommendations. Overall I would rate it 5 stars. Highly recommend.

I had the best sleep—seven peaceful hours—at this sweet, rustic inn in Johnson City, TX. It’s not fancy, but that’s part of the charm. My cottage was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the quiet made it easy to truly relax. I loved walking the grounds, taking photos of the wildlife and animals. Kristin, the owner, was warm and helpful, even pointing me to a great local coffee spot. A perfect escape from the hustle of modern life.

Great place to rejuvenate. It was so cool to wake up and see chickens and Nigerian dwarf goats. I stayed in the Lavender Cottage and it was lovely and very clean. It was a real treat to be able to bring my horses and keep them close. I can’t say enough about the management at Crossroads Inn. Kristin made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She is absolutely delightful. I will definitely be back.
