Wyatt the sheriff in this town
We camped at the Crippled Spider for one night while on our long 5500 mile road and have to say, it may have been the ultimate highlight of our trip! The owner, Wyatt, was super welcoming and friendly. Our kids had a blast petting and feeding all the animals and Wyatt even let them into the goat pen for more interaction, which they were super excited about. Wyatt was an excellent host and manager of the campground. He came out to meet us and we talked for a while, he gave us firewood and gave us excellent directions and recommendations. While it wasnt installed it while we were present they were installing additional toliet facilities on site and improving it. I assume it will be even better next time we visit. It was a short scenic ride to Thermopolis.
The owner Wyatt is a very kind and friendly guy, he brought us fresh eggs from his flock, the bath house and toilets are new! Very clean! I would definitely recommend this campground as it is also tent and pet friendly.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Crippled Spider RV park! What a treasure! Great grounds, clean bathrooms, and the best customer service in the nation. 11 out of 10!!
