First off, like everyone else I've met since moving to Tennessee, super friendly people. But... four weeks ago I stopped in to deposit a check drawn on a bank in Canada. I've been working for this company as a consultant/contractor for nearly five years. When I brought my first check to the Credit Union in Wisconsin, they said it would be a 7-10 day hold while the check cleared. I was told basically the same thing at the CUfRC.
