I found the Creative Sewing Studio earlier this year by Google search and I was shocked by how many 5 star reviews they had. I am no longer surprised after taking 2 rounds of classes here. I have so far only had Mikala as an instructor but dang is she amazing! She is so kind and patient and through in her teaching. I have taken two classes at the Create Sewing Studio and they have both been phenomenal! She takes the time to teach you about your machine and assists with any questions. Both projects I made in the class turned out awesome. I wouldn't be where I am today with my sewing journey without these classes

I have taken 2 introductory sewing courses with Mikala at the studio and both have been phenomenal. Mikala not only helps you create fun projects, but she teaches you about your machine, patterns, terminology, and more! She truly cares for each of her students and makes sure that everyone understands what they’re doing so you don’t fall behind. I have been taking adult classes for several years. I love the variety! Meeting new people is a plus! We chat and share stories while we are creating. It is a relaxing atmosphere, a nice break from the corporate world! Mikala is a warm and sweet lady. Her instructors are a lot of fun. I most recently did a glass etching class and Mikala made sure I had beer mugs for the bride and groom (they are a gift for their special day) My sister will be joining me for the next class, I cannot wait!
