Incredible Crab Cake This place has the best Crab Cakes. I have not had a crab cake this good since I left Maryland!! The Cracked Egg is clean and the service was attentive and friendly. Owner came around and talked to me like he knew us forever. He used to live and Maryland and uses a family recipe for his Crabcake. This is a must if in Daytona.
Local yumminess Excellent food, large portions, friendly staff. That about does it for the review. It has changed hands quite a few times in the last 6 years, but they always maintain good food and a good wait staff. The one review that said to take your check to the register is correct though, for some reason that's been the norm here for many, many years, otherwise they keep refilling your drink of coffee or soda, and you simply wait. Never feel rushed, and the food is truly excellent!

Great food Great Service – This is definately the local secret in Daytona Beach! This restaurant serves great food from Breakfast to Dinner. This is definately a must if you are in Daytona.
Cracked Egg is great! – Great food at a great price. Service was top notch! The omelettes are wonderful!! The french toast is great as well!
