The owner is very unprofessional and rude. Our waitress, who was new, came to the table after we had waited quite a while for our food to tell us that is was delayed and she was unsure why. The owner got in the waitresses face and reprimanded her right next to us. When we tried to tell the owner that we had been waiting a while, that it wasn't the waitresses fault, she turned to walk away and just dismissed us throwing a hand in the air. The owner of this establishment is unprofessional, condescending and rude. Our waitress, who was new, was explaining to us that the kitchen was having some delays and the owner walked up to this young lady, straight up in her face and scolded her in front of us. Then we tried to say the waitress was not wrong that we had been waiting a while for our food and she turned away and waved her hand in our friend’s face like she didn’t want to hear it. The Cove Club in Langley is a great place to stop when you’re around Grand Lake. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere has that relaxed, friendly lake-town feel.
