We opted for the River front Campsites and they were fantastic.. great outdoors.. Easy access to the River and excellent accommodations. Gail and Ben were great hosts, they have Glamp sites and Rooms as well
Was with a large group that rented the Base Camp July 18, 19 and 20. This place was extremely disappointing. The prices they charge for the condition of this so-called Base Camp is absolutely ridiculous. The place is a safety hazard. Floors rotted out, ceiling falling in, exposed wires everywhere. Roads are overgrown with trees scraping your vehicle. Trees down across camping area. Tent sites have wooden platforms that are totally rotted out. We had a large group that rented the base camp this past weekend July 18-20th. Place was not prepped for our arrival. We had members of our group have to get out to move a tree that had fallen across the road into the base camp. Grass was not cut, kitchen areas and bathroom were disgustingly dirty— does camp silver lake and Jason ring a bell. Creepy vibes. The location is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything was just as I expected. The rates are reasonable, and they are accommodating. I will be going back here again. I highly recommend them.
