My wife has lived at the Cottages of Lacey for five years. The staff is excellent. The units are clean and well-maintained. My wife and the other residents are happy and feel safe. The food is good as well. Family is always welcome to visit at any time. I always enjoy visiting with my wife there, talking to her friends, and the staff. I recommend anyone looking for a place for a loved one with dementia check out The Cottages of Lacey.
My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's. At home, she had not showered. eaten a proper meal or taken her required medications for over two years. We moved her to a different facility that did not specialize in memory care, where she was exit-seeking and very disruptive to the other residents, which kept us concerned for her safety as well as the other residents. I am very happy with the care that is provided at the cottages. My mother has been living there for about two years and I rest easy knowing that she is well cared for. The staff are very helpful and they do a great job with setting up medical care for her as well as personal care appointments that she needs. I love the Cottages of Lacey. I've been very ill. I am grateful that I never have to worry about my mom. I know she is well taken care of. It's been a huge relief since moving her there a year ago. The staff are professional and helpful. It truly takes a great team to manage memory care patients and they have that team. The events and activities are thoughtful and inclusive.
