I booked this rental based on the five-star reviews shown on the realtor’s website, and I really wish I had checked the Google reviews instead. This property advertises itself as “luxury,” but the amenities were nowhere close. The biggest disappointment was the bicycles. Everything is top notch, clean, organized and very professional; Although you are not allowed to grill! Also, if you want to use the jets at the pool, you better get there early because there is usually somebody there that hogs them all day long!
Really enjoyed our time here. We figured out that we could go to the beach about 2 hrs before low tide and stay about 90 minutes after low tide. The cottege we attested at was really nice. Pool is enjoyable. We'll maintained area
I just stayed in cottage 89 at the Cottages on Jekyll Island. Don’t be fooled by the photos. The living room furniture is filthy. Can’t even sit in the nice rocker chair due to the discoloration of fabric that is so dirty! Rugs have dirt stains all over them. Upstairs bedroom sheets are so thin and extra pillows and blankets in closet need to be thrown out.
