I don’t recommend visiting this place during flu season. Unlike other healthcare settings, the owner, Eileen Christie, does not allow patients to cancel appointments when they become ill, and none of the RMTs wear masks. My 72‑year‑old mother and I had been attending The Cottage weekly for several months. She has chronic back pain, and I need regular massage therapy due to the disability that causes severe muscle stiffness. Amazing service every time I go. Always walk away feeling relaxed and always feel welcomed when I step through the doors for my appointment.
I had a 75min indie head massage with Eileen and it was the best massage I have ever had in my life. She focused on my back, scalp, arms and face. She’s amazing! I ended up falling asleep through the treatment. I’m already booking my next appointment because I can’t wait any longer to have this done again. Highly recommended giving this a try!
