I don’t typically write reviews, but after visiting this bakery quite a few times and getting to know the staff, I had to share. The staff is always so helpful and will tell you about their favorites from the weekly cupcake flavors, which has helped me decide what to try. I’ve honestly never been disappointed! They do offer other items, and the oatmeal cream pie cookie I bought was out of this world. I have been frequenting this establishment for quite a while, and can confidently say that this is my favorite bakery. From the stellar and creative weekly rotating menu, to the amazing customer service from the family who all work together to support the owner/ sole baker, to the incredibly delicious food. I have never had anything from them that wasn't super yummy. As of now, I've even ordered 3 custom cakes that have ranged in styles and flavors, all of which were SO GOOD and well received. We are new in town and planning our wedding. We received a sample box this past month and was so impressed! My husband LOVED our build your own flavor- lemon with white chocolate buttercream and strawberry filling. I really enjoyed the death by chocolate but im a chocolate lover myself. We ordered a small cake for this past week for a celebration. Looking forward to ordering not just for our wedding but for our other celebrations as well.
We got a cake for my Mom's 70th birthday party. The cake looked beautiful but was EXTREMELY DRY. It clearly was over baked. When I cut into it it was very porous and I was surprised that it was basically 2 thick chunks of cake (4 inches each) and wasn't multiple layers. I would imagine baking a cake that thick would make it easy to over bake due to maling sure it'sbaked all the way through.
