We had The Cool Shop carry out a replacement of our ducted air conditioning system. We couldn't have been happier with the process from beginning to end. They showed up on time for both the quote and the install and gave excellent, professional advice throughout. Exisiting equipment was reused where possible and we were given a good price on the new units required. Hi, our first experience with The Cool Shop was a couple of years ago when our main bedroom aircon packed it in. It was old. With a 4 bedroom house, all rooms up stairs, we didn't have any other rooms with a cooling system. So we did a comparison with a few other companies to install a 4 way Daikin ducted system and The Cool Shop came out on top with a saving of a couple of thousand dollars. We haven't looked back. My quote increased in price in email without explanation of why this wasn't included in the quote. They also wouldn't explain about why I cant paint the piping before installation and then touch up anything that may need doing after the install. They kept saying they dont recommend painting prior to install, but they didnt provide a rationale for their recommendation.
