Small, run down room and bathroom. No toilet paper holder. No soap in dispensers, old, thin towels. Teeny shower. Air conditioner and humidifier(?) blew hot air for quite awhile until we eventually figured it out, but room remained warm. No instructions on these units in room. Also, no one to check us in. Called number provided on a sign we found but no one answered. I know it's hard to hire good stuff but it was kind of funny they never made up of bed or clean their room and one of the staff literally said what are these people think that we work for them lol
We arrived and we (all of us including our dog) were warmly greeted by Amanda. She made us feel so comfortable and was a welcoming & kind bright spot during our stay. The inn is very lucky to have her! The location is great and walkable to everything Lenox has to offer. The room & linens are very clean and the bed comfortable. 8/28/25: Be sure to clarify any fees. Great location. Old inn with a cool bar and beautiful patio . Rooms old and renovated. The holders that contained the shampoo, body wash etc were rusted and the shades a bit dirty. Ok for a night.
When we got to the Whitlock in Lenox we were greeted by the lovely cheery Amanda. Our room was great, clean and we came in to find a plethora of snacks on top of the refrigerator with a card from my boyfriend. It turns out he had called Amanda and she took the time to report all of his options . And brought them up to our room . It was above and beyond . I love that the hotel is right in town.
