What is most commonly known as the Comus Inn, was originally called as the Johnson-Wolfe Farm. It stands as a significant set of four buildings located in Comus, Montgomery County, Maryland. It is a perfect visual representation of the crossroads community of Comus, referred to as Johnsonville. The cenral building of the Johnson House constitutes a two-story, five-bay structure with a double piled principal block coupled with a rear addition. The complex is inclusive of a smokehouse, barn, a poultry house along with the Comu... read more

Wonderful Evening I recently attended an anniversary dinner at The Comus Inn and had a lovely time. The food was wonderful, service was prompt and as far as I could tell everyone at the party truly enjoyed themselves. I have been to The Comus Inn a few times before, and I will certainly be returning.
Amazing Location-Extraordinary Food! My girlfriends & I wanted to try someplace out of the ordinary for a Saturday night out. The local chains get old! One suggested the Comus Inn & I'm thrilled that she did. It was close to home, the view was stunning (gotta come back with the hubby), drinks were just what we needed and the food.....wonderful! None of us ordered a dish that we did not like. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place...in fact, I'll be back for more.
Friendly staff, nice decor I attended a wedding at the Comus Inn at Sugarloaf mountain. It was a fairly nice place, but it just wasn't anything extraordinary. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The food was decent, but not great. The location was a bit out of the way and hard to find.
wonderful food & service My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at Comus Inn. The food & service was wonderful, and the view is gorgeous.
It is Beyond Lovely The Comus Inn is an excellent restaurant. The food is delcious (I suggest the sundried tomato mac and cheese or the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, amazing). It is surrounded by picturesque farmland and neighbors a vineyard (they have a farmers market on saturdays). I fell so in love with this place I am having my wedding reception there. If you havent dined there recently, it is under new management and they have really made the Comus Inn a special place. The menu includes couples specials, hap... read more
One star is one too many. We made reservations for mothers day and one hour before we received a call cancelling us due to a 'glitch' that resulted in overbooking. No call the day before, no offer to move times and only blaming the Open Table app. Gross incompetence and awful attitude. They are not to be trusted. I wonder if the same happens with their events, as I see we are not the first ones to be dismissed with lame excuses.
Totally enjoyed the Valentine’s menu. Great choices, service, and atmosphere. We’ll be back!
Great service, delightful atmosphere, great food all in a lovely old Inn. Well worth the drive.
Great Thanksgiving buffet
