The mission of The Community House, an independent, nonprofit organization established in 1923 and located in Birmingham, Michigan, is to offer relevant programs and services to help people in the metropolitan area improve and enrich their lives. We do this by providing educational, social and cultural opportunities for people of all ages, interests and backgrounds. We build community by valuing diversity, connecting neighbors, and providing a gathering place for families, individuals and groups.

I only have good things to say. They did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. Maria was always avaliable via email and phone call to talk over detail of the shower. She was so helpful and come day of the staff was amazing, the hall was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Strongly recommend for any event you’re going to have.
I recently had my wedding shower here and let me be the one to say that the staff and the service was impeccable! They went above and beyond to help me decorate and accommodated all of my requests to make my day truly special and stress free. I, like many others, have been experiencing poor customer service EVERYWHERE since COVID but THE Community House staff were professional, curteous, and extremely attentive!
This past April I had the pleasure of hosting my baby shower at The Community House, and I can't praise the team enough! Tim, the CFO, was instrumental in making the planning process smooth and efficient. His quick decision-making on everything was so helpful, and his exceptional communication skills kept everything on track.
