I engaged the services of Comfort Cakes for a 70th Surprise Birthday Party approximately 2 months in advance. We spoke extensively, discussed, and agreed on the the design and size of the cake. The contract indicated a 50% deposit was required no later than 2 weeks before the event. When reached out to Comfort Cakes to forward the deposit, mind you this at this point it was 3.5 weeks prior to the event. I was told they had not heard from me and therefore cancelled my order.
