WORST MOTEL EVER!!! I would get a better night's sleep in my car! Staff are the ones causing disturbances here in the middle of the night and nothing is done about it! The manager is a tall skinny guy who was repeatedly harassing the woman in the next room over every few hours I would hear him entering her room and yelling at her. Apartently they are related and she refuses to get away from the creep. Absolutely insane!
Highly recommend staying at the Colonial Motel if you're going to be in the area. My wife and I wanted a spot close by Mt. Washington so we could hike and then enjoy a nice night before and after said hike. Colonial is a clean and cozy motel and checked off all the boxes we needed while being nice yet affordable. Staff was very friendly and even called us and walked us through the check-in process as we were arriving late. You can't beat this room for the price. Reasonably clean, decent size, no smell, ac, wifi. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times in 8 years. Location is great. Didn't use pool, but it looks nice in summer.
We paid for 3 nights and only lasted 1 because the room was filthy. The bed had poop stains, the towels were disgusting, and all they gave us was two towels and a thin sheet to “cover” a dirty bed. When I called the first night, the front desk said we’d be reimbursed for one night — but that was a lie. The next day they claimed they couldn’t refund us because we booked through Booking.com.
