Didn't try the food so can't rate it but it looked good. As a coffee shop though, all I can say is wow. The chaps certainly know their coffee and the batch brew was absolutely phenomenal. Well worth every penny. Easily the best coffee I've had in Leicestershire and that's saying something as I'm quite particular about good coffee. If you're staying in then just to bear in mind there is a minimum spend (�10) for an hour (laptops) and can only be used upstairs. Seating is plentiful.
I’ve tried the coffee here a few times and I have to admit, it is very tasty! However, when we asked the staff if they have skimmed milk, we were told that it ruins the taste of the coffee. Regardless of whether that’s true or not, we do not choose to have skimmed milk because we want to ruin the taste. Rather, we cannot tolerate full fat milk in the UK. This would be my only complaint about the Coffee Obsessive. Other than that it’s a great independent coffee shop in Leicester.
